Detailed history has not yet been added for this type. The most-produced fighter in aviation history, with around 30,000 built across its many marks; the type code also covers the Spanish-built HA-1112 Buchon. Several Bf 109s and Buchons remain airworthy today, flying with warbird collections in the UK, the US and Europe.
